UMBC’S YOUTH MINISTRY is requesting your help! The upcoming school year brings heavy financial burdens for families struggling to make ends meet. You can help ease their stress by participating in UMBC’s Youth Ministry’s BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE, running through August 9th. We are collecting all essential classroom items—including backpacks, paper binders, notebooks, markers, calculators, pencils, pens—to equip students for success. A donation tote is waiting in the lobby for your contributions. Let’s come together to bless our youth! See Deacon Tanya Ray for more information. Our ABUNDANT FOOD PORTIONS MINISTRY is blessed to share ample portions of food with the community on the 2nd and 3rd Fridays of each month. Our next distributions are scheduled on August 14th and August 21st from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Items are given out on a first-come, first-served, while supplies last basis, so please spread the word to anyone who could use a blessing. Children are one of God’s greatest blessings. It’s Important to help them grow in faith. Therefore, we are thrilled to announce our Children's Church! We cater to young minds to teach children important life lessons that will help them grow into healthy, responsible adults while teaching them about their Best Friend and Savior– Jesus! If you're a family with children ages 4 and up, this might be something you want to check out!

Thank you to our volunteers who make this possible. You are greatly appreciated, and we want to acknowledge and encourage you that serving in this area releases parents to be able to focus on the service and enjoy time together - so thank you! WEDNSDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY CONFERENCE CALL OPTION Bible Study is held every Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Union’s WORSHIP SERVICE is now live streamed on UMBC’s Facebook page and Facebook Live. Please let members and friends who are unable to physically attend know that they can watch the service each Sunday beginning at 11 am.

UMBC has an Afterschool Program for youth ages 3 to 12. The hours of operation are 7:00 am-10:00 pm. Hours will vary depending on scheduled out-of-school days. Breakfast, lunch & and pm snacks will be served. Vouchers are accepted. We are presently enrolling students.

UMBC's After-School Program Summer Camp program dates are May 30 - August 22, 2026. Give your child a safe, fun, and enriching summer experience. For more information, contact Shea Brockington, UMBC Afterschool Program Director at 910.833.5045. See flyer attached.

If you (members as well as those who are not members of UMBC) need transportation to and from Sunday School and Worship Service, UMBC’S TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY will provide this service to you.
