- October- 31st - TRUNK OR TREAT- 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm - UNION’S TRUSTEE AND ACTIVITY EVENTS MINISTRIES have joined together to sponsor a ”Trunk or Treat” on Friday, October 31st from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm in the parking lot of UMBC. We are asking Ministries of Union and you to please bring bagged candy and your decorated car for our youth to have some clean and safe fun.. A designated bin will be in the Lobby. We are asking for volunteers. There will be a sign-up sheet on the table in front of the office. If you’re interested in helping us with your car, set up, and clean up, we’ll take all the help we can get! Reach out to Barry Smith at 910.550.7475 for more info. 
- October- 25th & 26th - 2025 WOMEN’S CONFERENCE- 25th @ 10AM; 26th @ 11AM - Ladies, the time is drawing near! Are you craving a chance to pause, recharge, and connect with other incredible women? Then join us for UMBC’S 2025 WOMEN'S CONFERENCE, a special weekend designed just for you. It's a chance to step away from the noise and focus on your personal and spiritual growth. This year, our theme is: “Women, Fueled by Faith – Guided by Prayer – Filled with Love”. Enjoy a weekend of genuine fellowship with women who understand and support you. Make new friends and strengthen existing bonds. Relax, have fun, and fellowship. You will hear life changing messages from two empowering speakers: On Saturday, October 25th at 10:00 am, you will be favored with Elder DeVonia Harrison from New Hope Freewill Baptist Church and a luncheon. On Sunday, October 26th, Pastor Dianne Hayes from “The Journey” God’s Awaken Ministries will culminate our Women's Conference during our 11 am Worship Service. Registration is $25. A representative from the Women’s Conference will be in the Lobby to assist you or you may pay by Cash App using $churchthatlovebuilt- state "for Women’s Conference 2025. - November- 16th - 23rd - 30th - CHILDRENS CHURCH – 3rd, 4th & 5th Sunday Each Month- 11:00 am - Children's Church will not be held on Sunday, October 26th due to UMBC's 2025 Women's Conference being held. - Children are one of God’s greatest blessings. It’s Important to help them grow in faith. Therefore, we are thrilled to announce our Children's Church! We cater to young minds to teach children important life lessons that will help them grow into healthy, responsible adults while teaching children about their Best Friend and Savior– Jesus! If you're a family with children ages 4 and up, this might be something you want to check out! - Thank you to our volunteers that make this possible. You are greatly appreciated and we want to acknowledge and encourage you that serving in this area releases parents to be able to focus on the service and enjoy time together - so thank you! Again, CHILDREN’S CHURCH will be held EACH 3rd, 4th, & 5th SUNDAY for AGES 4 AND UP. 
- November- 14th & 21st - ABUNDANT FOOD PORTIONS DISTRIBUTIONS- 4pm-6pm - ABUNDANT FOOD PORTIONS DISTRIBUTIONS are scheduled each month on the 2nd & 3rd Friday. October's distribution dates are the 10th & 17th from 4 pm - 6 pm. If you know someone who is in need, please inform them of this opportunity. We are seeking volunteers to assist with set-up, distribution, and clean-up. Contact the UMBC Office @ 910.763.3006 or see Brother Allison and Sister Doris Henry for more information. - November- Monday - Friday - AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM- UMBC has an Afterschool Program for ages 5 to 12. The hours of operation are 7:00 am-10:00 pm. Hours will vary depending on scheduled out-of-school days. Breakfast, lunch & and pm snacks will be served. Vouchers are accepted. We are presently hiring staff and enrolling students. - November- Ongoing - TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY- If you (members as well as those who are not members of UMBC) need transportation to and from Sunday School and Worship Service, UMBC’S TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY will provide this service to you. Drivers are needed to transport. Please contact Deacon Miles Davidson at 910.763.3006 for more information or if you need transportation. 
- November- Ongoing - WORSHIP SERVICE – LIVE STREAMED- 11:00 am each Sunday - Union’s WORSHIP SERVICE is now live streamed on UMBC’s Facebook page and Facebook Live. Please let members and friends who are unable to physically attend know that they can watch the service each Sunday beginning at 11 am.
