It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas as we anticipate the expected birth of Jesus Christ. SHOWTIME PRODUCTIONS presents “All About the Gospel Music” right here at UMBC on Saturday, December 7th @ 5PM; doors open at 4PM. This show is approximately 2 hours in length with performers giving a variety of Gospel Music imitating some of the most famous Gospel Artists. Over 300 shows offering past and present music have been performed up and down the East Coast for many organizations and churches. Reserve this date and time. Come - prepared to have a good time!!! And....there is no admission fee.

Each year, the Pulpit Aid Ministry hosts an ANNUAL CHRISTMAS EVENT honoring our Pastor & 1st Lady. On Sunday, December 15th, immediately following Worship Service, “A Christmas Afternoon Delight” will be held in the Fellowship Hall. We are asking each Ministry to decorate a table with your favorite décor and food items. Each of you are invited to eat, sing, fellowship, and celebrate with us the anticipated birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. You will be favored with live music. Plus, you have the opportunity to bless Pastor and & 1st Lady Nixon with your gifts. You may see an Usher or Office personnel for an envelope, should you desire to give a monetary donation.

ABUNDANT PORTIONS FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS are held the 2nd & 3rd Friday of each month. The next scheduled Fridays are December 13th & 20th from 4pm-6pm. If you know of someone in need, please inform them of this opportunity. We seek volunteers to assist with setting up, distribution, and clean up. Children are one of God’s greatest blessings. It’s Important to help them grow in faith. Therefore, we are thrilled to announce that our Children's Church is back! We cater to young minds to teach children important life lessons that will help them grow into healthy, responsible adults while teaching children about their Best Friend and Savior– Jesus! If you're a family with children ages 4 and up, this might be something you want to check out!

Thank you to our volunteers that make this possible. You are greatly appreciated and we want to acknowledge and encourage you that serving in this area releases parents to be able to focus on the service and enjoy time together - so thank you! Again, CHILDREN’S CHURCH will be held EACH 3rd, 4th, & 5th SUNDAY for AGES 4 AND UP.

Union’s WORSHIP SERVICE is now live streamed on the UMBC Facebook page and on Facebook Live. Please let members and friends that are not able to attend service know that they can watch service each Sunday beginning at 11 am.

UMBC has an Afterschool Program for ages 5 to12. The hours of operation are 7:00AM-10:00PM. Hours will vary depending on scheduled out of school days. Breakfast, lunch & and pm snacks will be served. If you (non-member as well as member) need transportation to and from Sunday School and Worship Service, UMBC’S TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY will provide this service to you.
